Crocodiles Valentino and Valentina caught in Bataraza, Palawa on the Valentines Day
The two crocodile were caught according to the citizen due to some complainst that an incident of crocodile attacked to a civilian that was about to take a bath on the near river in the remote area of Batarza, Palawan on Tuesday.
“Opo, talagang sinikap po nila na mahuli ito para maiwasan po muli yung pag-atake nila (buwaya) sa mga tao na naliligo doon o kaya may nangingisda sa ilog. Sa amin pong pagkaalam ay fist time po ito na mayroong inatake na tao doon po sa ilog ng Tayab na nasasakupan ng Brgy. Tanglato,” a local folk stated about the crocodile attacks.

According to some of the citizen near the said spot, some of the fishermen do destroy the bacawan while fishing which lead to fish migration to the other spot. The stated complain might have force the crocodiles to attack on people due to lack of food resources in their area.The 2 crocodile name Valentino(16 feet long ) and Valentina (11-feet long) were brough to the Puerto Princesa Crocodile Farm.
