International Rebel Group MILF killed 3 in North Cotabato
An Alleged group of Moro Islamic Liberation Front or MILF had tried to set free a leader in a Jail Located at Kidapawan City, North Cotabato province Late on Sunday Night.
At least 50 rebel launched an attack around 10:PM in the evening with grenades and Armalites at the main gate of the jail detention which resulted on many casualties within the civilians living near the Detention.Three were found dead after the rebel leave the place together with 15 wounded civilians .
A Red Cross worker, who was reportedly trying to bring wounded civilians to hospital, was among those killed in the crossfire. The two others who died were from a nearby karaoke bar.
According to the BBC's Kate McGeown in Manila, at least three different rebel groups and many criminal gangs are active in the area, making it difficult to ascertain who was responsible for this attack.
