After a lose agains the Uzbeks U-23, the Azkals were able to grab an upper hand after winning 2 consecutive games against the Division 1 team from Doha and the Al Ahli SC from Saudi Arabia with a score of 3-1. Phil Younghusband lead the attacked as he racked up 2 goals and 1 from new recruit Fil-German Denis Wolf.
The match against Australia U-23 will also be the return of Ace Goal Keeper Niel Etheridge from Fullham which arrived yesterday in dubai.
This will serves as a preparation of the Olympic Qualifying stint on Summer Olympics.
With Azkals having Etheridge back i hope that the're defense will be as good as hell, no offense to the previous goal keeper but he was really exposed last time against the koreans. The only missing link in the line up would be Stephen Shrock who is currently playing in Bundisliga Playoffs.
