UFC President Dana White blast Floyd Mayweather

Dana White fired some slur against Floyd Mayweather on a segment called "Presidential Address".White's topic centered with  Floyd Mayweather's ducking on Manny Pacquiao and his racist tweet against the new NBA Star Jeremy Lin.

Here's the Rant of Dana White pertaining to Floyd.

"First of all, what he said I think was racist. He's made a couple of racist comments and, yes, Floyd, you're racist with the stuff that you've said. First of all, Jeremy Lin gets all of this credit because he's an Asian player in the NBA that African Americans never get? Yeah. He's getting all this praise because he's an Asian guy playing in the NBA. You say that African Americans don't get it? Really, Kobe Bryant doesn't get any praise? Michael Jordan never got any praise? The list goes on and on of the guys who completely get praised for being great NBA basketball players. Not only can he compete and make it in the NBA, the guy is tearing it up and is breaking records, you knucklehead. OK?White, who managed boxers in the 1990s, ended his tirade by telling Mayweather to "shut up and make the fight."Yes, I run the UFC and all this stuff. I'm a boxing fan and I want to see this fight, too. I know that I speak for millions and millions of other people. Shut up and make the fight, Floyd".

Ellerbe, the manager of Floy Mayweather response with a statement  after learning of White's rant. "If he keeps on running his mouth, we may decide to give a free seminar to all of the UFC fighters on how the pay-per-view revenue should be distributed. This is typical Dana, who is always prone to ignorant outbursts. He should be the last person to try to judge someone else."

After White learned about the Ellerbe's reponse to his statement, the UFC President replied a text saying "Just for the record, shut the [expletive] up [because] I wasn't talking to you," White said by text. "I was talking to Floyd. We're doing something amazing. We're building a sport while you guys are destroying one. "

Jeremy Lin was a Pinoy Last Night

An Article from the New York Times written by Gish Jen entitled "Asian Men Can Jump," published February 16   sparks the controversy regarding the lineage of JEremy Lin as mistakenly understand that here mother was a part Filipino or something to that effect. See here the full article ((http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/17/opinion/asian-men-can-jump.html?_r=1))

An Excerpt from the News
"The elder Chuas came from a rich Chinese enclave in the Philippines. Faced with a hostile native population, they circled the wagons and emphasized tradition. "

This was saw by Joey Villar, a supposed to be reliable sports analyst had tweeted and was seen by millions of basketball fans in the philippines which obviously started the LINSANITY last night.

A Screetshot of Joey Villar's tweet.

According to historians, Lin's father is an eighth-generation descendant of immigrants from Taiwan, having moved to Taiwan from the Fujian province of China in 1707. On the other hand, Lin's maternal grandmother grew up in Zhejiang in China, and moved to Taiwan in the late 1940s. There, she married a Taiwanese native, and then later moved to the U.S.

However, Taiwan has the upper-hand upon the bragging rights since he was always visiting Taiwan back then.

Here are some of tweets which started the Linsanity last night.

I'm expecting the Philippine media to find evidence of Jeremy Lin having even a millionth part Filipino in his blood, now that he's famous.

But once a few skeptics read the article closely, they discovered that no such claims were made, and that the author of the New York Times piece was merely contrasting Jeremy Lin's (Taiwanese) parents, with writer Amy Chua's family, who migrated to American from the Philippines.

Jeremy Lin's mom is NOT Filipino-Taiwanese.Seriously.Writer was referring to Amy Chua's family. She is not Lin's mom. #philippines

Floyd Mayweather Insults Jeremy Lin

Here comes Floyd Mayweather again with another racial slur, not with Manny Pacquiao but Jeremy Lin . This time in tweeter , heres what he tweet about jeremy

"Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don't get the same praise.

Wow what a country.

Other countries get to support/cheer their athletes and everything is fine. As soon as I support Black American athletes, I get criticized.

I'm speaking my mind on behalf of other NBA players. They are programmed to be politically correct and will be penalized if they speak up."

As of now , Lin was named as the Easter Conference Player of the Week togethe with Dwayne Wade and  seems determined to continue with his impressive play. He has now averaged 26.8 points in his last five games, delivering five straight wins for the New York Knicks. Part of his five-game record-setting performance includes a 38-point game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
