NBA Veteran Spur's point guard TJ Ford retired all of a sudden after a scary hit on his back he got from Baron Davis' Elbow. He was drafted 8th overall pick on 2003 NBA Rookie Draft by Milwaukee Bucks which also featured future NBA All-Stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Carmelo Anthony.The 6-foot athletic and prolific point guard lead the bucks in assists with 6.5 per game (apg), while tallying 7.1 for points per game and was also selected to the NBA All-Rookie 2nd Team before he suffered from a contusion of the spinal cord, a career-threatening injury from Timberwolves' Mark Madsen's foul on his rookie year.
Before his stint with the spurs, TJ Ford also played for Toronto Raptos and Indian Pacers.
The 28-year-old point-guard abrutly retired and announced it offcially in twitter.
