Dwight Howard to Nets?

Here are some of my points to be taken by Dwight Howard if he considers New Jersey Nets to be his new team

  1. 1. Derron Williams , this guy can definitely make a compliment to Howard's game , he can take the scoring cudgels and also dish some pass to Howard.
  2. 2. Marshoon Brooks, with the emergence of this rookie, the load on DW12 will be lesser compare when he was still with Orlando where he was surrounded by middle tier scorer.
  3. 3. From New Jersey to Brooklyn Nets? new facility being founded by New Jersey Net's owner is now under construction in the New York Area of Brooklyn . a place that can draw a lot of crowds and awesome fans.
  4. 4. Salary, lets assume that B.Lopez will be traded and at least a draft pick or another player from nets, they can guarantee at a 5 year maximum contract for Dwight Howard with at least 140 million.

Deron Williams pulled off a Jordan Like Performance, will this convice DW12?

The former USA Olympian and  NBA All-Star point guard of the New Jesey Nets pulled off some tricks on his sleeves and made a testament that still he is still one the premier point guard in the NBA even with the emergence of Jeremy Lin,Ricky Rubio,Kyrie Irving and Derick Rose.

Derron Williams scattered a Career High and Franchise record of 57 points , to lead the Nets over the struggling Charlotte bobcats.

Williams scored 17 points at the half  for the nets who are also downed by 16 points .

Derron lead his team on a 3rd quarter surge as they got the lead back with a 22 points performance on that quarter, and 18 points on the fourth.

Derron williams broke his personal best of 42 which he set last April 6, 2010 while he was still in Utah Jazz.
His 57 points outburst was also the highest since  Kobe Bryant's 58 in 2006.

Unfortunately , Starting Center Brook Lopez left the game as he suffered again from a twisted ankle who already missed the first 32 games of this season after recupperating from a broken rightfoot.

Watch here how Derron Williams dropped a whooping 57 points

Bryant breaks nose in West's All-Star win

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant paid a price for becoming the National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star Game's leading scorer, breaking his nose in the Sunday contest, the Lakers said on Monday.

Bryant, who surpassed Michael Jordan as the game's all-time scorer, suffered a nasal fracture in the Western Conference's win and will be re-evaluated by an ear, nose and throat specialist when he returns to Los Angeles, the Lakers said on their website.

He also was experiencing headaches, Los Angeles media said.

The 14-time All-Star apparently was injured in the third quarter when he suffered a bloody nose on a foul by the Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade. Bryant helped the West beat the East 152-149 by scoring 27 points in the game in Orlando, Florida. He now has 271 points in 13 All-Star Games, nine points more than Jordan.

West All-Star overcome a late surge from the East All-Star

Kevin Durant scored  36 points on 3 out of 8 shooting from beyond the arc to lead the West All-Star Team defeat  Lebron James and the company and win his first NBA All-Star MVP.

Kobe Bryant played his usual game as he scored 27 points and became the new NBA All-Star Scoring leader in the expense of Michael Jordan while Durant's teammate Russel Westbrook finished the game with 21 points.

East All-Star who never tasted the lead since the start of the 2nd quarter managed to staged a come back after James erupted with 36 points and cut the deficit to one in the closing minutes of the game. Dwayne Wade with a triple-double 24 points, 10 assist and 10 rebounds  and Derron Williams contributed with 20 points  to set the tone for the East All-Star.
