The 56 centimetres (22 inches) tall Chandra Bahadur Dangi of Nepal is now considered as the world's shortest man unofficial. Which is until now Junrey Balawing from the Philippines has held the title of the world's smallest living man with a height of 59.93 cm. He also made some television appearances in Europe and the United States and was the official face of Nepal's tourism campaign.
